WRIGHTSVILLE, Pa. — Wrightsville officials continue seeking outside funding opportunities to address future infrastructure needs.
Council recently approved actions related to upcoming Community Development Block Grant applications that could help fund road repairs, sidewalk improvements, stormwater management projects, and other infrastructure upgrades.
Local leaders say grant funding remains one of the most valuable tools available to municipalities because it allows communities to complete major projects while reducing the financial burden on taxpayers.
Obtaining grant funding has become increasingly important as construction and infrastructure costs continue to rise.
Officials emphasized that pursuing grants does not guarantee funding but increases the borough’s ability to compete for resources that could benefit residents for years to come.
As planning moves forward, borough leaders say they will continue identifying projects that improve safety, accessibility, and quality of life throughout Wrightsville.
