While this year’s National Night Out activities may not have brought together as many Columbia Borough residents as hoped, that doesn’t mean the spirit of community has to end. In fact, The Columbia Chronicle is encouraging residents to create their own Neighborhood Night Out from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and show what makes Columbia such a special place to call home.
A Simple Way to Show Community Pride
On the chosen evening, residents are encouraged to:
💡 Turn on your porch lights or outside lights from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
👋 Step outside and say hello to your neighbors
🏡 Spend time on your porch, front steps, or sidewalk
🤝 Introduce yourself to someone you’ve never met before
😊 Enjoy conversations with the people who help make Columbia a great community
