ADA-Accessible Kayak Launch Moves Closer to Completion

WRIGHTSVILLE, Pa. — A project designed to improve public access to the Susquehanna River is steadily moving toward completion.

Borough officials recently received updates on construction of Wrightsville’s ADA-accessible kayak launch, a project intended to provide greater access to the river for residents and visitors of all abilities.

Workers have completed significant portions of the project, including major concrete work, with additional improvements continuing as construction progresses.

Once finished, the launch will create a safer and more accessible way for individuals and families to enjoy one of the region’s greatest natural resources.

Supporters say projects like this help promote outdoor recreation, attract tourism, and improve quality of life throughout the community.

The launch is expected to become another important feature of Wrightsville’s riverfront, further expanding recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
