COLUMBIA, PA – There’s plenty happening around town this week as residents enjoy the final weeks of summer and take advantage of local community activities.
One of the week’s notable events is the Borough Council Regular Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, where local officials will discuss borough business and community matters. Residents are encouraged to attend and stay informed about issues affecting Columbia.
On Thursday, August 13, the Parks and Recreation Committee will meet to discuss recreational opportunities, park improvements, and upcoming community programs.
The weekend brings several community-focused events:
- Community Outreach Day will take place on Saturday, August 15, at Locust Street Park, offering residents an opportunity to connect with local organizations and neighbors while giving back to the community.
- Also on Saturday, residents can participate in a Tae Box Pop-Up Fitness Class on Walnut Street, combining aerobics, boxing, and kickboxing in a fun, high-energy workout.
